Easy Refrigerator Pickles - Mary McPartland

6 c. cukes, thinly sliced

2 c. onions, thinly sliced
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2c. vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp mustard seed
1/2 tsp. tumeric
1/2 tsp. celery seed

Places cukes and onions in a crock or deep dish.

In saucepan put in the other ingredients and stir until sugar dissolves, bring to a boil. Pour over cukes and onions. Cover tighly, let sit for 24 hours in the frig, then serve.

Will keep in the frig for up to 1 month.
