French-cut green beans with dill butter – Everyday Food – Martha Stewart

1 pound French-cut green beans or substitute 1 10 ounce package, frozen beans (cook according to package instructions)
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp fresh dill (or ¼ tsp dried)

Bring 1 tbsp butter and ¼ c, water to a boil in a large skillet. Add 1 pound French-cut green beans or substitute 1 10 ounce package of frozen beans (cook according to package instructions). Cover and cook over medium-low heat until tender, 16-20 minutes.

Drain and toss with butter and dill.

Season with coarse salt and ground pepper. Serve warm.

DMV note: I used fresh green beans which I frenched with the little gizmo Amy gave me. Doubt I cooked the beans for 16 minutes I tend to cook veggies in much less time than called for.
