Cilantro
Slaw - food list serve
1 8 oz cup plain yogurt
1/3 cup mayonnaise
3 smallish roasted and peeled
poblano peppers or roasted red peppers
1/2 bunch cilantro, leaves and top
stems only
3 minced garlic cloves
2 tablespoons lime juice
pinch of
sugar (optional)
salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
1 bag angel hair
cabbage for slaw
fresh
jalapeno of hot pepper (optinal)
Mix together the first eight ingredients
in a food processor and process until mixed well but not totally smooshed (you
should be able to see some cilantro and pepper flecks). Pour over the cabbage,
mix well, and chill.
Next time I think I'll add a - it's a very nice
combination of hot and cold and crunchy.
