Betsy's page for furry Mammals

Hello all my feline friends out there I'm Betsy a Female 18 year old Black American shorthair. I have lived the good life with a nice family to share. I started my life in Rock Springs, Wyoming when I was adoted by a family and came to live with them in their house. There was a Mother, Father and two young sons.I fit right into thisfamily and we had a lot of good times. The two sons were nice to me and we played a lot. Then the family decided to get a canine named Kaibab which took me completely by surprise. Kaibab was a large Samoyed which I thought of as a giant fur ball, I liked to play with her tail but sometimes she was hard to tolerate. Then came Kate, my family came home with a another cat they named Kate. I didn't know how to react so Kate and I kept our distance, Kate was a Siamese and just a kitten so I didn't like all the attention that she got. Kate was around for a while but she had heart problems and unfortunately died at a young age. Then came Roy and Dale, two Siamese kittens very annoying for an old lady like me. Dale was not happy living with me and left a year afterwards. Roy and I had interesting times together, but I enjoyed being alone best.

The above picture was taken a month before Betsy's death. She lead a good life, we miss her and are glad we had the opportunity to know and love her.
